Mike and Jim Ring aren\u2019t strangers when it comes to working with carbon fibre as many of their builds have incorporated it to some degree. With the Fastback the ring brothers subtly widened the iconic shape of the car by 4 inches providing more contemporary proportions without being too overstated. The carbon fibre body work is hidden beneath a custom Waterborne paint colour aptly named \u201cSpy Green.\u201d although you can see glimpses of the black stuff if you look closely.<\/p>\n

That strong lightweight carbon fibre shell houses the car\u2019s 959 BHP supercharged V8 engine from Wegner Motorsports. A twin-Disc clutch makes driving the powerful Mustang a breeze with smooth engagement and high-torque holding capacity. All that power is sent through a custom driveshaft and into a Ford 9\u201d rear end. Exhaust is expelled through headers with 2\u201d primaries that were custom designed and built by Ringbrothers.<\/p>\n
