AOC has launched a new vinyl ester series designed for high performance CIPP applications
\n
\nThe new pipe resins named Vipel L085-PPA epoxy novolac vinyl ester resin (VER) has been created for applications that need resistance to aggressive chemical solutions and high heat.<\/p>\n

Vipel L085-PPA Series offers corrosion resistance, durability and toughness in formulation packages that are designed for CIPP processing.\u00a0 The resin\u2019s epoxy novolac chemistry provides resistance to acids, bases and many organic solvents. The Vipel vinyl ester also performs well at high temperatures with a heat distortion temperature (per ASTM D648) of 300\u00b0F (149\u00b0C).<\/p>\n

The new resins will be featured at the 2012 Underground Construction Technology International Conference and Exhibition, January 24-26, San Antonio, TX, USA (booth 1044), and the 2012 No-Dig Show, March 11-25, Nashville, TN, USA (booth 1001).<\/p>\n
